Always Remembered, Forever Loved

In Loving Memory of

Laurie Sandblom

It is with hearts filled with love that we remember our beloved church member, Laurie Sandblom. She became part of our church family in August 2024, and from the very beginning, her sweet spirit and radiant smile captured our hearts.

Pastor Curry first met Laurie on a Wednesday evening. She recalled how her back was turned toward the door, and when she turned around, there was Laurie—standing there with a big, beautiful smile. From that day forward, Laurie faithfully joined us for Bible Study and attended church services for several weeks before officially becoming a member on October 5, 2024.

Laurie lived a life rich in experience. She traveled the world, lived in many cities throughout the United States, and carried with her a wealth of knowledge. As a retired educator, she often shared fond memories of her teaching days—stories that warmed our hearts and reflected her deep passion for learning and for inspiring others.

Laurie often spoke lovingly of her daughter, two sons, granddaughter and grandson. Whenever she mentioned them, her face would light up and her voice would carry the joy she felt for each of them.

Though her time with us was brief, Laurie made a lasting impact on our congregation.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but we rejoice in the blessing of having known her.
